Re: your number one life tick?
Really? Lol. I have always wanted to do that across europe. Maybe we should trade cars and you can have your US roadie and I'll get over there, swim to the frogs palce, eat German chocolate, have a gellato and avoid greece all together.

What would you guys want to see in middle america? It is kinda boring tbh. Best stuff is on the coasts, Wyoming, Montana, Grand Canyon is cool. Probably take you about a month or two to go all about and really see it. Then again, you could just hop all the way over to Hawaii and spend your time there sipping drinks, surfing, diving and enjoying the good sights!

Re: your number one life tick?
Ok. You can save a lot of time though going to New York, Chicago, Philly, New Orleans, Seattle, San Diego and Los Angeles. Pretty much covers the pallet. Lots of good food out there though. Personally, I live in kinda a dry place but there are some good places in San Francisco. Most expensive meal I ever had was there. 4 people = $3000. I was glad I wasn't paying. Good wine though.

Re: your number one life tick?
Cool! Boston is nice. Orlando is a great big dissappointment. You'll love SD. Skip Orlando and head down to Miami.

We can head up to the cabin in Lake Tahoe. Bet you'd like that. Only about 2 hours.

No idea, never seen it. Route 66 is a long way to do it alright. Worst part is the desert. Never done the whole thing though.

no i mean all films well i know they going be some bad places
Re: your number one life tick?
Oh, Lol. Films are over the top. Kinda like watching Masterpiece Theater to find out how the English live. However, I do know quite a few that live a very glamourous life. One thing is that there are many people here with lots of money but like everywhere, there are many who don't.

Re: your number one life tick?
Cabin is a lovely place but we don't go that often anymore. It is a family trust property and many don't like dogs there (lots of family members are clean feaks and they went way over the top building that place- made it almost too nice to enjoy). We hate leaving the dogs behind, but it is a great spot. Really no other places I like as much.

Re: your number one life tick?
My brother worked in the states for a few years. I went and stayed with him for a couple of months and loved it. He was living in Houston. So I went to Dallas and spent a week in San Antonio.

ooo i saw that on tv the other day the bloke who on the wheeler dealer if you saw it he went over and bought a car and brought it back to the uk made £4,000 on it
Re: your number one life tick?
We walked all the way up that, with suitcases, when we were trying to find our hotel!

Re: your number one life tick?
Well, we actually walked from the financial district virtually to the coat, which took us overall about 2 hours, maybe a bit more. The crooked road took us about 30 minutes cause it's steps all the way up which follow the directions of the road, and it's really steep!
All the way up, taxis were taking tourists down it really fast!

Doing a life tick list would be a complete waste of time for me because I know none of it would get done.

I'm hopeless with distances.
The trouble was, once we'd gone for about an hour we were so off the beaten track we didn't know which buses/trams went where. Every time I sugested we get a cab there weren't any around (typical) and we were so used to penny pinching at that time that I suppose it just seemed a waste of money. The fact that I'd come into a bit of cash which is what gave us the chance of the hol in the first place didn't seem to register with us at the time!
Mind you, once we got to the hotel, it was probably the best holiday we've ever had!

Think thats ok but years ago there were massive profits to be had.
I want to get one of them absolutely hooooooooooooooge camper vans like from Meet the Fockers and do the length of the states, oh and its got to have the puff the magic dragon horn

Tell you what Steve , I could just leave the missus , we could ship all the dogs over there and we could do it together (separate bedrooms of course) , me you and the doggies We'd have to share the driving fairly though as I'd only want to be sober for half the trip
