giardia and coccidia (yuck)
Routine stool sample...Callie apparently has both. No symptoms, no diarrhea. Vet reassures me common and easily eradicated.
Anyone else have experience with these?
Boy it will be fun giving her a pill for the next two weeks...picking meds up tomorrow, wish me luck

Re: giardia and coccidia (yuck)
Bless hope she's soon better!!
For pills I guess I'm lucky, mia eats them as if they are treats!!
See if you can put it in a bit of cream cheese or pâté and get her to eat that
If not its a two person job, one to hold her and her mouth open, and one to drop the pill right into the back of her throat!

She seems fine, thanks for thinking of her
Vet said cream cheese too
BTW when I told our breeder she thinks she got it from drinking out of the birdbath (nasty habit) as she didn't have it 2 weeks ago.

We bury Rockys tablets in a small piece of cooked chicken, you could use fish too, anything that smells stronger than the tablet really.
