Cooling off after a long hot day
We took the dogs up to a small lake near to us to cool them all down this afternoon, Polly loves to swim and Charlie is really brave getting in up to his belly, it's only his 2nd time up there
Skye our Collie cross just loves water full stop

I like the way Charlie waits for the other two to come back with the stick!

Re: Cooling off after a long hot day
Charlie is 15 weeks today so he is being really brave, especially as the first time we took him up there he went charging into the water after Polly and Skye and suddenly realised he couldn't walk on water or swim
We didn't think he would go near it this time but he just took it slightly more carefully
It took Polly months to even get her feet wet now you cant keep her out

Nikki we were up at one of the small lakes at Bawsey pits, its not far from us and there is no barbed wire or anything about for the dogs to run into. They get a great run and all of the dogs we have met up there are friendly, although you can go for miles there are shorter walks there too, its lovely. If you ever want to meet up there give us a shout, we used to go every day and now that Charlie is getting older we will be getting back into that routine.
I am wary of taking the dogs to Sandringham after there was that spate of dogs getting very ill after being walked there.

Re: Cooling off after a long hot day
Lovely video. From recent events at the sea with Ty, I am sure he simply likes to paddle and splash in shallow water. Not really crazy about the swimming for real part.
