10 weeks old puppy-few questions.
Ok,where to start.
1) Is he getting bored of being in the house?
He had last shot last Saturday so can take him out next Saturday. I know that staffs are very hyper and have lot's pf energy but sometimes he is out of control,he doesn't listen,he just got that mad look in his eyes, start to steal socks etc, when he's in that stage there is more nibbling. We play with him,he has short training ( around 5 min) but also he has time to play and relax by himself. The madness is always after he was alone for longer, like in the morning or Monday afternoons, when he has to be alone for few hours.
2) How long can be the walks and when we can start to take him for longer walks/runs?
3) He seems to listen more my husband ,do you think he just testing me? I'm just worried that he won't listen me when he's older.
Thank you

Re: 10 weeks old puppy-few questions.
Well, the normal rule for walking is 5 minutes per month of age until they're about 6 months old, and then gradually increase the time to about 30-45 minutes by 12 months old or so.
I'm afraid all pups get that 'mad' time when they're really excited (like when you've just come home after leaving him for a while) & you need to just let him let off steam for a minute or two. Maybe let him out in the garden for a dash around.
Who does most of the training at the moment, and who feeds him?

Ok, I think I forgetting he's still a puppy .
We both do the same amount of training and both feed him. And he listens to all the commands I give him,he waits for his food sitting down,I can take it away, put hand in it.

Oh,one more thing. He's 10 weeks and 5.20kg- is he fat? At first he was on dry Eukanuba food but he didn't like it very much,we even reduced it because we were thinking that he's not hungry so from Saturday we started to mix it with wet food and now he eats it up in seconds. The amount of food stays the same.

Welcome to puppyhood
Takes time and when your able to get and about it will help! Have you taken him out and about under your arm, its a good way to introduce them to the outside world and the smells and sights can tire them out Xx

Agree with everything above. If you aren't already doing it you might want to start getting him used to his collar and lead inside of the house.

It's difficult to say whether or not his weight is right. They all grow differently & at different rates. If he's active & lively (and he sounds like he is!) then he's probably fine!

He's very active. There is new thing-he's started doing wee in his crate in the morning,he never done that before. Always take him for a wee at 11.30pm,then 2am and he used to woke me up around 6am. Now he doesn't ( or I don't hear him any more). He wees where we keep his water bowl ( we take it out for night ). This mornig I moved his water bowl where his food was ad fed him where he did wee ( I cleaned it first ). I do I stop him

Re: 10 weeks old puppy-few questions.
HYA - HE SOUNDS JUST LIKE MY RONNY !!! DEFINATELY TAKE HIM OUT FOR A WALK UNDER YOUR ARM - IT GETS THEM USED TO NOISES - CARS ETC. USE HIS LEAD AROUND THE GARDEN OR THE HOUSE. THEY DO SHOW OFF WHEN YOU LEAVE THEM - DON'T OVER DO THE CUDDLES WHEN YOU GET BACK - FUSS HIM FOR A MINUTE OR SO AND THEN GET ON WITH SOMETHING ELSE. HE WILL CALM DOWN I'M SURE.

Re: 10 weeks old puppy-few questions.
I don't make a fuss over my coming back. I open the crate ,ask him to go for a wee, then pads him for a bit and that's it. I put collar every day and we just started with the lead ,he hates it . He doesn't like to be ignored,he shows off some much then. Still don't know why he's started doing wee in his crate. Will set my alarm clock tomorrow for 6 and will see.
