Grrrr British Gas rant
I have pre payment meters and i went to put some gas on.It kept comming up with card error 35 so i rang them up.I was told to go and get a new card and try that, so i did.It still came up with the error so i rang them back. After being on hold for an eternity,i was told that the engineers are too busy and the next appointment would be the 22nd and by then my gas will have run out so i had to phone them back when it did! So i told her what i thought about their customer service and hung up.I just spent the last half an hour outside stuffing the card in and out the meter and i managed to get it working thankfully.Really not impressed with them at all.Thinking of changing providers now

Useless. Hopeless. Absolute crap. I'm with British Gas as well but I'm on an agreed amount until the end of the year so I can't change - wish I could though.

We are with NPower, dont even go there. When we first went with them hubby set up a direct debit for the monthy payment, a year later we discovered they hadn't taken any payments. We are now still paying for it after about 6 years. They are useless.
A while ago we had a letter from them demanding £150 a month, sod off. Thats about twice what we use. It's only the two of us in a tiny one person flat. Hubby phoned them and expressed his displeasure, as only he could and got this down to £80 per month. , we have gas and electric from them. As soon as its all paid off we are going elsewhere.
We always take meter readings, along with a photograph, and email them.

we're with British Gas and don't have a problem , we use the service plan for our boiler as well and just had new smart meters put in , only can speak as you find.
