my poorly but very clever girl
so got in from work earlier opened the door and got in n smelt a not so good smell ,sasha greeted me then rolled on her back like she had done some thing wrong, after i calmed her down she lead me upstairs where in the spare room i found where the smell was coming from, whilst id been at work she had been unwell and had a accident of very runny poo's,poor girl .what she had done though was to go in the spare room where my hubby had been stripping the old wall paper off,and had left it on the floor, and sasha had her accident on it!she had been sick in her bed too .so i have not given her any dinner just some scrambled eggs, which she has turned her nose up at,any thing else i can do?

Re: my poorly but very clever girl
Oh poor girl, and yes very lucky that it went on the paper, cleaning up dog diareah of a carpet is not reccomended and I should know lol!!
There isn't a lot you can do, I would be inclinded to starve her for 24 hours as long as she is drinking like normal I wouldn't worry too much.
Moo sends lots of licks lol Xx

Re: my poorly but very clever girl
When Ledger had the runs he woke me up every hour or so through the night to take him for a walk (he wont go in the yard for anything) luckily he would still only go in long grass and I live very close to the park
I boiled up a batch of rice the next morning and just put it down in small amounts he ate when he was ready and in even smaller portions than I had put down. It was 24hrs or so till he got his spark back and he got a bit of grilled chicken with rice for the next couple of meals before going back to kibble
Get well soon Sasha

Poor Sasha, hope she gets well soon, best thing to do is to starve her for 24 hours but keep trying to get her to drink water, she'll need her fluids x ><

I too vote for starving then going with white rice and boiled chicken breast till she is right as rain. Helps with getting back to normal.

Re: my poorly but very clever girl
Hope she is feeling better soon. She could have eaten something that you didn't see but as long as she is drinking regularly I wouldn't be too worried.
