having trouble with my pups food

ive got a 5 month old pup his been fine on his food from day one but for past week he wont his breakfast. ive not changed the food. ive waited till later on in morning but no luck. so one morning i let the other dog have a sniff and guess what my pup eat it lol. its strange iam getting bit worried because he needs to meals a day. cheers.

To be honest, if it were me, he'd still be on 3 meals a day for the next couple of months. However, you may be feeding too much at the previous meal & so he just isn't that hungry when the morning comes.

Him going without his breakfast for a day will teach him to eat food put infront of him and not be fusy it wont do him any harm to go without breakfast for the day just as long as its not too many days in a row. Also be careful when you allow your other dog near your other dogs food there should be many bounderies in place at feeding time to prevent confrontation

The odd meal missed isn't a problem, but keep an eye on him if he misses another one.

yeah the best thing is to not feed him first thing and wait till evening time, then feed him, he will soon learn it eat his breakfast the next morning, as he will be feeling empty, you should also cut down on the size of his meal as well for a while

Vinnies just a little pig haha! he eats all 3 of his meals straight away haha! .. if he dont then he does go back to it after a little while .. could be as said above, just not feeling very hungry, if his meals are bigger been on 2.
