Goodbye, my bear
Well, I'm having to move out...but I cannot take Junior or Kellev with me.
As you all know, neither was truly my dog, as much as I would have liked to think it, so as much as I have brought Junior on, it all stops on the 22nd May or near enough, since his owners would never sell him to me, and I dare not ask. So, from Junior and Kellev, it's adios. I will miss them so much.
As for me, I'll still be around, maybe not as much, but I'll still be here.
I am getting a dog of my own, and I'll raise it from a pup and train it to be an athletic competition dog as well as a companion for myself and my OH, but yeah, it will not be Junior, and I will miss him.

That's sad. Poor Junior will go back to the way he was before, I suppose?

Most likely...poor boy. He doesn't deserve that.

Re: Goodbye, my bear
I hate goodbys, so its more of au revoir, will you be able to visit Junior and Kellev though ??
I wish all the best in your new endeavours please keep in touch as we will need to see pics of your new puppy and hear about how things are going for you all.
Take care, keep your chin up you did as much for them as anyone could have. ><

They weren't her dogs anyway, Steve. She only looked after them cause the owners couldn't/wouldn't.

I don't know the situation but why did you end up with them in the first place? Was the owner just not bothering or were they going away for a while?

Re: Goodbye, my bear
You're always there to put me down just a little Steve, I'm not sure why either.
And Caryll is right, they never belonged to me in the first place, I only handled/trained them.
@kathy - Yeah, I'll be able to definitely, Public Transport shall be my saviour.
@Equi - Kellevs' owner said she'd be coming home a year after she handed him to me, and she never did, so I continued to work with him. Junior? I just started to walk him and then issues with his behaviour starting to show through that no-one had told me about, so I opted to correct them. The only other option for his owners was to sell or put him down. So I re-trained him and he's safe now.
So yeah, I'm saying goodbye to both of them with a run along the seafront and some rich food and games.
But I'll be back to visit them.

Re: Goodbye, my bear
He will go right back to the way he was with his owners, so what was the point? They can't expect you to have fixed him, they must do the work too. Which i very much doubt they will and he will end up rehomed or pts anyway. I would definitely be asking them if you can keep him.

Already asked and I've got a final answer, I will try and ask them to carry on the training.
But I can only do so much, I can't control peoples actions and I feel good knowing that Junior had a good time with me.
But honestly, even if my training does go, I think he may live out the rest of his life with those people. I don't think they'll re-home him, but if they do, that is their choice. I've done what I can.

Well I can only imagine the pain. So sorry for you and them, but like you said, they weren't yours to keep. Good luck and hope to see you back.
