Bleeding sore?
My bully has a bleeding sore on his chin I started noticing a few days ago. He is not doing anything to aggravate it that I can tell. However, it is constantly bleeding. he is a blue bully and I have been told that they are more vulnerable to food allergies. I have noticed that he does have redness in the rest of his chin. Also where his collar goes. But that is the only white fur I can see. My question is, could it possibly be food allergies causing a bleeding sore?

Re: Bleeding sore?
I doubt it. Usually a food allergy will cause fairly widespread redness/itchiness, not open sores.
Have you bathed it with a warm salt solution? If you have, and it's no better, I would ask your vet to have a look - it might be a scratch or bite that has become infected & might need antibiotics to clear it up.

Re: Bleeding sore?
Just boiled water with ordinary table salt added & then cooled to blood heat.
Salt is nature's antiseptic & has tremendous healing properties. If it's still weaping/bleeding after a couple of bathes then it's something you should ask your vet about. There could be a tiny seed or sliver of glass or something caught in his skin & the vet will be able to do something about it.
