chewing our rug ><

well scarletts successfully manged to rip a massive hole in out brand new rug! im a bit worried about getting new carpets now as im scared she will rip them anyone know how i can stop her doing it? my OH was in the kitchen making a cup of tea looked back round and she did the rug a new hole! she got a firm no and told to lie down but she still goes for it when both our backs are turned!

My Mrs swears on a bit of pepper to stop her going back to that spot, has she got plenty of chew toys, have you tried her with a kong ?

Try putting a few drops of T Tree oil around the carpet, it may stop the chewing. Also maybe needs a bit more mental stimulation from some toys too.

dave she has loads! from teething toys , rope toys ad she even has a teddy my son gave her and we play with her pull ropes and she has tennis balls we throw for her.

She going out and running about in the garden to kathy so she gets plenty of play time lol.

Suki did this one as well. We used Bitter Apple on the spot and that seemed to work.

well i put pepper on it and she hasnt touched it since she licked it and never went back!
