This time next week

We will all have eaten loads,say that were so full that we will never eat again.Then half an hour after saying that,we will go and make a sandwich with the leftover chicken/turkey

Ha! yes. This will be our first Xmas at home for 3 years. We normally go on hol to escape it. We've come to understand though - that you can't escape it. All that happens is that you sit on a beach somewhere watching people in swimming trunks and santa hats walk past, while listening to calypso bands playing Xmas carols.

So this year we will go back to our old routine of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon breakfast with a bottle of champagne, followed by 2 more bottles. Then, drinking wine all day and listening to music then eating a burnt/undercooked dinner then spending boxing day with a hangover.

Sounds like my kinda day!
