Harley has bald patches on his head

My ten month old staffy harley has a lot of small bald patches on his. He is scratching a bit but not all the time. I have had him at vet and his skin scrapes came back negative for mites ?? Does anyone have any idea what is causeing this? Thanks

How long has he had these bald patches?

Have you checked for any plants in your garden that he might be allergic to? Or any washing/cleaning stuff that he might be sensitive to?

What about his food? what are you feeding him?

His dam has some fawn. He has had them for a couple of weeks now. It started with a couple of small spots on his head. He is fed on James wellbeloved turkey and rice. He is not allowed near the plants as they are in raised beds.

This may sound daft but he's not rubbing his head on anything thats making the patch, like a crate? Or have you used a different flea treatment? Just a thought.

I have used frontline since he was 8 weeks. He has a crate but he dosent rub against it. I will try and get a photo of the bald patches on his head

my pups were the same at around 6 months they got a wee bald patch , i was panicing incase they went bald, i worm and flea them regular and bath them with sensitive dog shampoo, i decided to take them to the vet and the vet said that this was common in staffies, as there hair is thinner at the top f there head and behind there ears, there hair is now grown back in , you could also try an antibiotic if u have any spare amoxicillin or cefalexin in the house , you can also buy dog antibitics on several websites
