men, mud and a puppy
So today was Saturday/rugby day so off I left at lunch time and arrived back late afternoon, dirty and grumpy(we lost a close game ) to find my partner mop in hand(an odd sight in itself) but hes also looking very pleased with himself!
So I pipe up with oh god, what have you done now? the reply was It wasn't me. Oh *.
So the little monster(5month old Baxter) decided to investigate the new planter box which was weed free and all prepped for some winter vege planting, its now a little low on soil and blocked over as the wee fella thought it was fun to dig a hole in it plant one of his balls and leave it to 'grow'.
As if that wasn't fun enough for him, he thought it was a wonderful idea to take a wee trek through the house, in through the french door through the lounge and into the kitchen before he was spotted....this I am told was when the real fun began!
A chase ensued, I'm not really sure who won, no one seems to want to admit defeat but there is still a muddy little paw trail on my duvet cover and one knackered little puppy who no longer wants to play with the hose...
Hopefully this provides a wee smile to someone who needs it today like I did, the rugby loss was forgotten...until now when I relive it in my head
I just wish I had some photos of todays antics!

I'm trying to imagine what a ball tree is going to look like
Dont worry about not having any photos of the events I'm quite sure we can all recall what the scene must have looked like upon you arrival back home.
They do have a way of putting everything into perspective dont they

Thanks, I'm a real bad loser, I hate it soooo bad, so even though the mess meant I had to change the clean sheets yet again, it still put a smile on my grumpy loser face
