Sshhh don't tell Ledger he isn't allowed breakfast tomorrow!

Well my ravenous boy will be getting a bit of a shock in the morning as not only will his morning walk be on a short lead to prevent scavenging the bread that the drunks leave in the park overnight (odd but true) but then on our return home he can't have breakfast as he is booked in to have his broken canine removed

I'm a very bad mommy as as soon as the vet releases him I am going to abandon him at my parents for the weekend as I am going away and attempting the London marathon on Sunday

Ahhh Ledger I'm sure you will be fine having your tooth sorted out at the vets, and good luck to you Jules for the marathon, I will look out for you.

Ohh poor him, my vet said he would'nt take out lexis tooth unless it started to pain her cause the pain it causes takin out is awful. He will need lots of cuddles and soft mashed food.

Good luck on the Marathon! You're keen i can't run the length of myself.

If Ledger is anything like Harry he will be giving you some dirty looks in the morning when he doesn't get his brekkie Sure he will be fine at the Vets.

Hope ledger's procedure goes well! Good luck in the marathon! The only marathons I've ever done were TV marathons!

Well groggy dog is back home curled up on the sofa one rotten canine and one molar with a cavity removed they fed him at the vet but he was getting worked up in the cage and threw up and he did again when I got there so I have settled him on the sofa and given him a bit of left over ham and just seeing how things go, whether to take him to my parents tonight or they have offered to pick him up early tomorrow before I head down to London

I feel really guilty for considering leaving him right now will see if he perks up in the next couple of hours

He'll most likely be really drowsy until tomorrow anyway, pleased all went well, and yes you are a terrible mum for leaving him (joke!) Xx

Well we both survived

Apparently Ledger was fine from the next day and has been taking his pain killer and antibiotics with no problems and after a couple of days soaking his kibble he is back on dry and all is good

I'm not too bad either having to take Ledger out round the park 4-5 times a day is stopping me from completely seizing up on the sofa I might build up his training to join me on a canix half marathon next year

Oh it was slow 6hr 41 I may have had to walk (recovering from a cold and pulled my calf about mile 10) but I didnt stop and as it was my first the aim for me was just to get round and next time I will show a big improvement

I hope you don't mind me adding my tuppence worth - you are very brave. I rember my daughter doing the Moonwalk which is the same distance only walking. She said at the end she felt like someone had hit her all over with a baseball bat I see you are forward planning for next year - yaahh!! xx
