Something isnt right :(
Hiya all, my girl just isnt right....
She has been eating and drinking fine. We had a good walk and and a play and she was fine.
She pooped inside this morning and has been pooping fine. But she seems very sad and into EVERYTHING outside. I cant seem to distract her at all. She plays for a little bit then goes back to sighing in her bed sat upright staring at me...
There isnt anything new in the house, no noises outside, her food hasnt changed so Im just a bit worried she isnt as energetic either......
Any suggestions!?
Thanks xxxxxx

Is she spayed? Could she be coming into season? I am kinda at a loss. Hopefully someone with more girlie dog experience will come along.

This may sound a bit wet but maybe she needs a cuddle and some fuss. I'm no expert just guessing.

Agree, hot water bottle, snuggles and plenty of fuss. She's feeling under the weather as would I be if it lasted a month!!

Sorry but she doesn't want a cuddle
She wants the company of a male dog and its not to play fetch or tugawar with.
she's just doing whats natural to her, naturally she would be traveling miles to find a mate, you not being able to get her attention because she is probabilly either laying down her own scent or trying to find a males scent.
Looking at you because she knows, you = open front door, just be careful door dashing might start even though it was never a problem before and also higher jumping.
My old dog would never even attempt to jump our garden wall which stood at 8 feet but when ever in season she would clear it. I wouldn't fuss her too much because she may demand it way after her season has finished.

Meg used to really sulk when she was in heat, pace, whinge and whine at the door, she was a headache LOL.
Don't forget there hormones are all over the place too, also keep an eye on her when she finishes her season,Meg was 3 days out of season when she was struck down with Pyometra.

Poppy acted really weird when she was in season. She'd take herself off and be on her own. I think this is normal. Jenny was a right stroppy cow too!!
