Callie's home
She is great. I knew Staffies were smart but she is SO smart--knows her name, sits, comes most of the time, learning "leave it"--and she plays hard but she's really mellow and snuggly when she's not playing.
Now if I could only get her to stop eating mulch. And rocks. And leaves. (And any other object in the backyard when she is supposed to be learning to potty...) I read on this forum that they are part goat and I see why...

Aw congratulations! She is absolutely stunning, such a pretty girl. Now the fun really starts. We're all here to help if you need it, the puppy stage can be rough but so worth it.
Enjoy your baby, I hope you have many happy years together

Re: Callie's home
thank you all so much for your kind words and good wishes! it makes me feel great!
pavement hoover fits her to a tee Janey Her fancy AKC name is Moonstruck "Song of Calliope"-- my husband said we should change it to Moonstruck "Eater of Dirt."
She is getting the hang of going to pee outside (I'm getting the timing down) but then comes in and goes to poop on the paper in her ex pen. What is up with that? I guess I could crate her until she poops, I have a crate also. She was paper trained at the breeder's so I guess she is confused by trying to switch gears.
I am a little nervous as back to work tomorrow...have a dog walker coming but she already loves being with us and the kids...I know she'll get used to it, and I only work 2 or sometimes 3 days a week, but I'm already having mommy guilt
