Brick at Window
We have the pleasure of living in such a wonderful place.
We have just a brick thrown at our window. So glad that Rocky heard them and had a little shout at them. They then buggered off, good job too. Stupid individuals

Re: Brick at Window
Yes thanks we are OK, tbh I've been expecting it for a while now. we usually get something happening around here every 6 months or so. I hate the place, this is why we so badly want to get out of here.

Because they can Steve and know they will get away with it.
We've had stuff before and reported it to the police, still waiting for them to come out to an accident that happend 3 years ago. It just infuriates me so much

Re: Brick at Window
that's really bad for a council not to consider those factors, we tried oxfordshire when we had problems even letters off the police saying we needed to move, but they basically said we don't care, so we applied to lincs and here we are less than a year later, it's so friendly the only noise is from the airbase and with triple glazing we don't really hear it

I'm so sorry! How scary and depressing. This just happened to my downstairs neighbor a few weeks ago. The police didn't even look for the perpetrators.

Wow that is really frightening! My wife would have made me move her long ago if we lived there. Hope that you can find another alternative soon!

Thanks Steve,
What did you do to get somewhere else, You said you applied to Lincs, how did you go about this??. Would be very interested in that area, even if we have to rent privately.
Our housing association are useless. We have been on the transfer list for years, literally.
My husband has disabilities so we have tried to get a 2 bed house. We are currently living in accommodation meant for 1 person and the housing association are in breach of the housing aggreament but dont really seem to be that bothered.
We got married 4 years ago and wanted to start a family but its too late now, it just all seems so hopeless.
If you could point us in the right direction it would be grately appreciated, or if anyone else has any ideas, many thanks in advance.

Major lump in my throat. I'm so sorry Kathy, I can't believe you're not getting more help with this. Fingers crossed you are out of there sooner rather than later ><

Re: Brick at Window
We have reported this to the police now and they said that victim support may be in touch with us, I really hope so then they can have the full story of everything that has happend while we have lived here. This will be good ammunition for the housing association. Thankfully we have records of all the incidents.
They may do something about it then.
There is a streetlight attached to the flat has hasn't worked since we have been here. We keep reporting it but it is still not working. They might notice of that now too hopefully.
We have taken photos of the broken window, well it is the window frame that is damaged not the pane luckily.

Heavens kathy! Its hard for me to comprehend what your life must be like. And I live in the murder capital of the world! Thank heavens you are all alright. What the hell is going on in Britain?

Re: Brick at Window
Kathy I know it seems too late now, but you could start keeping a diary of dates/times/incidents as they occur. If someone reports something like that to the police here and it is a persistent problem, their advice is to keep a diary so that they can see how often they are doing it and the extent of the problem. Might be worth a try for you.

Whats going on here is that the police dont do anything about reported antisocial behaviour, so the idiots just carry on with it because they know nothing will get done about it.

We do have antisocial behaviour diary logs from our social housing provider. Can you believe that such an item has to exist ??
We do also keep our own diary of events too.
