HEAD NUDGING

i bet a few people on here have a staffy that always nudges you with their head... Blake does it all the time, i can be sleeping then all of a sudden i can feel his whiskers touch my arm,he stays there for a few seconds then i fell him nudge me with his head lol i look at him and he is standing there with his rope toy hanging out his mouth...he also does it when i have a drink in my hand then he shuvs his head under my arm making me spill my drink... the fun of owning a staffy !!

Yes know that one, I think its just another of their wonderful traits. Wouldn't change them for the world though would you ??

We get more of a pawing than a head nudge

Ty head nudges when he wants snuggles and if you ignore him he will start tapping you with his paw its so cute lol.

Taz is the same , will paw if you ignore and I'm in progress training/distracting to stop her from jumping up when she is ignored (assuming she has every need full-filled [food. toilet etc] - huge attention seeker

Mine have always nudged me when they want attention.
They are allowed a lay on the bed in the morning for a sleep after hubby goes to work and if they sense me move and not go back to sleep it's game on, even when I was sure they were asleep 5 seconds prior.
Izzy's funny as she does it under the computer desk and I don't always see her sneak under there, next thing I feel this tickle on my leg and nearly leap off my chair. She looks as me rather reproachfully >

Lolas the same lol - Always when your working or something Or she sits right in front of you just waiting for you to look at her & give her some attention & if you dont she whines!!! lol

I run gauntlet here with all the heads bopping about. I just can't recall how often I gotta tell the kids "keep your chin up away from their head!"

This is yet another of their cute little quirks. This is why I love staffies so much, there is so much about them that is just different and distinctly 'staffy'. The only thing I'd change is how much it hurts when they headbutt you or use you as a springboard! I LOVE staffies, my Charlie mostest of course

Ledger nudges my arm up then wriggles in to get in to make himself a spot between me and the arm of the sofa also if I don't want to get up in the morning I say 5 minutes and he curls up for a while then comes back nuzzles his nose under my neck and nudges my head up until I get up!

scooby's a nudger, he likes to get his head snuggled right in. maisy will just push her whole self in, if your sitting down and she wants a cuddle she'll sit her self on your knee, paws on shoulders. when they come in to bed for cuddles, they both get under the covers, scooby lays down on one side full length, head snuggled in to my hand, maisys on the other side curled up with her head under my chin.. Yummy staffys, they give awsome cuddles!

billys a nudger as well he does it all the time cause his like getting stroked

my puppy constaantly does it then rolls on his back so i rub his belly lol

Pixee does it all the time, ever on walks, and I cant see her and start calling her, she will nudge my hand as to say, here I am . Staffys are just the best

Romeo is a hard core head nudger. he will come up to you, and nudge you into the position he wants to, from shoulder right down to my feet. i have gotten into the habbit that when i sit down on the sofa or bed to do something i automatically lift my left arm up slightly cause i know he is going to nudge his way under there pretty roughly so he can be cuddled or sprawl over my left thigh. cheeky bugger

Romeo will also bum nudge me, we will be walking or i will be standing an sudenly he starts shoving me with his butt! or is i'm sitting down he will come up to my feet and walk past and nudge me with his butt over and over until he gets sick of it, he is a strange fellow
