Learn to lie down
Guys/girls,
I'm After some ideas on how to make kaos Laydown! Ive got her to sit , which she does 90% of the time. I've tried lowering the treat in front of her nose and she just gets up , I don't think she understands, being only 13 weeks I suppose it's expected lol

Re: Learn to lie down
get yourself some treats either have her crawl under your leg (while your sitting on settee) while she follows the treat and say lie down when she does or like i did all my three way until they done it naturally.

Re: Learn to lie down
I held a treat in my closed hand, just open enough so that mine knew it was there and could smell it, I got him to sit, then lowered my hand down to the floor. He sniffed and sniffed and tried everything to get it, in the end he laid down and tried to get it. I told him good boy and let hin have it. Tried it again, when he laid down, I said lay down, and let him have it. Did it again, said lay down and waited, he did it, I said good boy and let him have it. Then I just kept repeating it until he had it perfect. Only took abut 20 mins in all I think. he was doing it at about 10 weeks so Kaos is old enough to pick it up

Thats great advice guys, i'll try the closed hand trick tomorrow see what happens.
Whilst i'm on here her biting/nipping is still none stop at 13 weeks is that normal? There are moments where I think she is getting really good, and then she almost gets too excited and goes on a nipping spree. I tend to find when she has eaten and is tried the only time when she is manageable..

Ours is still doing it too at 5 months! still trying to learn him not to but hes not having any of it trying to bite faces too but when playing, hope you get some answers, i'm going to keep trying a firm "NO" and ending the play cos apparently thats what the mother would do and other pups of the litter, if one dog got too playful and started to hurt they would yelp and then end the play so then they learn its gone too far

Re: Learn to lie down
When they nip give a firm no and turn around and ignore them. It takes some time but they learn this isn't acceptable.

Hiya, is she improving with the dog trick yet? I also tried it with our puppy but he just couldn't get what I was wanting from him
