Fusspot 4yr old staffie
Hi there, Bought the Pero dry dog food for Daisy almost a month ago now and the first week was great. Now she is getting very fussy and won't eat it on it's own. Have tried adding cooked chicken and she picks out the chicken and leaves the biscuit, same with sardines in tomato. Tried the pedigree mixer pouches and she'll eat the meat and leave the biscuit. Any suggestions? She's 4yrs old and was on pedigree chum when I got her. Am also worried I'm over feeding her. I don't want to do that as I had that proplem with our previous staffie. I an only walk her 2-3 times a day for 20 minutes as I had an accident in January and can't manage much further at the moment. Fiona

We follow the recommendation on the food package and adjust up or down based on how Suki looks. Daisy could be getting used to having other things in her food. Try leaving her food down for 10-15 minutes and than picking it up. She won't let herself starve

Moo is a fussy eater, I had to add warm water or gravy into it, as anything else she would pick out and leave the biscuits! A little bit of gravy and she scoffed it!
I wouldn't worry too much about the over feeding, when he is able to go out again properly (and I am assuming she will) Daisy will burn it off, you may ave to cut back slightly for now, I always go on the look and feel of the dog but if she can't exersize properly its difficult Xx

Thanks. Managed a bit further walking today, so hopefully on the mend. Will try the gravy on them.
