Finally met the breeders
I finally met the breeders of my future boy, she has two girls in heat at the moment. One is dark brindle the other is pied, Im not sure when I will commit because Im fostering a dog now and till he gets adopting then Im open. A part of me is afraid because my frenchie is such bitach! I guess my pup will have to know who is boss and my frenchie will have realize that her big brother will one day be bigger then her. The breeder crate trains her pups so thats good, he wil feel more secure. Has anyone brought a puppy home to a older * dog? any suggestions?

Get something with the pup's scent on it and bring it home early so your current dog is used to the smell. Make sure not to make a fuss over the pup and neglect your current dog.

thx, if u lived closer u can have her! hahhah. i need therapy because of her. Talulah is such a bully! she has to think about the commands I give her before she does it and only will with food. They are really exspensive but my when my last dog past away which was a pittbull i needed a different breed so it wouldnt be a reminder but i love the pittys so im getting a staffy. they seem to be always be friendly with the right trainning and i live across the street from a amazing park.

Re: Finally met the breeders
Hi i rescued a puppy last year and brought her home to my older rescue and he loved her from the beginning i think the only advice i would give and what we did was made sure that they both had the same amount of attention and love, i think with all the excitment with a new puppy everyone comes round to see him/her and ignores the other dog thats when they start to get a bit hacked off so plently of love for both dogs and im sure they will love each other
My older dog protects my younger one now he's like a big protective brother to her Hope all goes well!

Re: Finally met the breeders
thanks for your reply, my dog was well socialized as a pup so she can be nasty but Im gonna give it a try. I think lots of play time at the park will be good. it will be in a neutral area.
