Returning from holiday to lots of cuddles

Well I have not long got back from a trip to Nicaragua and what better way to finish nearly 20hrs of travelling than to lots and lots of staffy cuddles

It broke my heart out there when travelling through the city of Managua to see cages stacked on the side of the road containing in total 10-15 puppies left out in 30+ degree heat, its not a culture that really keep dogs as pets but I did see one beautifully cared for mastiff perched up with his owner on the back of a flatbed truck

Ledger has clung to me since I got back and while I'm in the process of sorting through the holiday pics here are two from our afternoon walk today

it always the best antidote to the retuning from holiday blues!!!

im not sure i couldve coped with that sight, i had been advised to expect the worst in thailand/hong kong last year but was pleasantly surprised by the pampered pooches i saw.

I had paid the deposit for the holiday before I fell in love with Ledger at the rescue centre, it was meant to be a skydiving trip but we barely got any jumps in due to high winds still that meant we had a private plane to have a bit of an airtour around a volcano

Hope you had a great time. I've been meaning to get to that area of the world myself
