Good on Paul O'Grady
Although it was only a short, and very amusing clip, of Paul O'Grady it was fantastic to hear him speak so highly of the breed. Would of liked to see the Rescue Agility have a little air time, as it would probably have been far more interesting than the pro agility...

Re: Good on Paul O'Grady
Its a pitty the staffy wasnt picked in the terrier group. i think a lot of judges feel theyre not true terriers and a lot of them dont consider them at all.

I think Paul O'Grady did a good job of championing the Staffies, I'm sure this will go a long way.

Re: Good on Paul O'Grady
Did they say he had staffies himself? It was a good clip! and it was nice to hear on crufts a vet saying they don't deserve their current reputation!

Re: Good on Paul O'Grady
I think on the whole, the talk of staffy's was very positive, and yeah, good on him for fighting our corner so publically
Even the bit on D/dogs, I thought was pretty good for a change with plenty of people saying the right things on national tv

Re: Good on Paul O'Grady
Loved it, thought paul done a good thing for staffs as i thought crufts on the whole did alot too promote the deed not breed part.
Wonder if anyone will take this in thou or just carry on the same, will take alot too change peoples minds but any positive press is a step in the right direction.

Re: Good on Paul O'Grady
Keep it up Battersea, I have only just rehomed a staff but if I had room I would have sooooo many of this beautiful breed. Misunderstood and misrepresented, thank goodness for campaigns like yours and similar.

Re: Good on Paul O'Grady
Aw he did brill to promote how loving and gentle the breed is, He has a staff on nearly every week speaking highly of them. I am in tears at it every week. especially the first episode when they had that staff in that was under weight and a breeding machine to someone.x
