WEIGHT AT 6 MONTHS
Hi,
Just had Ted weighed at 6 months and he was over 16 kilos.
He's a stocky puppy, In proportion with a bully head. Just curious as to what your boys weighed at this age?

Yeah I agree, vet got one of the weigh-ins wrong I'd say, as 4kg on a pup in one month is almost impossible I reakon!
He's got a lovely face from that little pic, cant wait to see more of him

Re: WEIGHT AT 6 MONTHS
You can also weigh them at home if you have a scale. Weigh yourself first and then pick them up and get back on a scale.

Re: WEIGHT AT 6 MONTHS
Romeo was 16kg when he went to get his second vaccine so thats at twelve weeks isn't it? When he went for his booster he was 21kg. I think he was 15 months old then as it was last summer.
Hes two years and four months now and weighs 24.5kg, all muscle.
I have noticed that all blue dogs are very out of standard and mature very quickly, all the ones i've seen (and thats about 75% of staffies i've seen in total) are 18-19 inches tall with enormous heads. Not blue bashing, its just what i've noticed.

Re: WEIGHT AT 6 MONTHS
He's only 14 inches tall but hes got a big frame. When we first got him I thought he had some sort of injury because his ribs stuck out so much-my mum was like OMG HE HAS A TUMOUR.
Hes fed on James wellbeloved dry and sometimes has chicken or lamb instead. I like to get him lamb ribs.
He useally has a dentastick type treat everyday as well and sometimes he has a pigs ear.
I hope you post lots more pictures of Ted.

Re: WEIGHT AT 6 MONTHS
I would think a pup could put on 4kg in a month
We got Blaze weighed at first booster he was 9 weeks and 5 days old and was 4.6 kg then today and 11 weeks and 5 days hes 6.7kg however vet said hes healthy and everything normal , i did ask had he put on too much and vet assured me that it was fine for him to gain that amount

Re: WEIGHT AT 6 MONTHS
Can't remember exact weights, I know he was 23kg at 1 year though. I am thinking he was either 16 or 18kg at 6 months but I cannot guarantee any accuracy on that. My guy is 19 months old now and 26.5kg, pretty much fully grown might go up to 28 max. Gringo is pretty big though (compared to friends or people met on walks Staff's) so this might be the upper end of weight.
