Bathtime trouble
Hi guys.don't know if this is the right place to post this.
I've had Jett since he was teeny xD he's now nearly 1,he used to be ok having a bath until a couple of weeks ago.I wash him outside with a large warm bucket of water. He's fine when i wet him and apply the shampoo but when he see's me pick the measuring jug up he starts squealing and pulling on the lead choking himself.(I have to tie him to the post otherwise he runs around the muddy garden) I've always praised him and given him treats when having a wash so he knows it's ok.does anyone have any tips on what I could do?

Re: Bathtime trouble
Don't force the issue and show him the cup every day. When he doesn't react negatively give him a treat. Or see if he is okay with a hose

you could fill the jug with clean plain cold water and let him sniff and drink from it. if he associates it with something good he will stop being freaked by it. if he like milk put a little of that in for him to drink anything good.
