Suki and friends
We took her to the dog park and she got obsessed with a Great Dane and Akita I felt bad for the Akita's handler because he got knocked down a few times because he didn't get out of the way fast enough

Re: Suki and friends
This dog park is on the Army housing area. There are a fair number of Americans out in the general public though

Great pics ... I like the idea of dog parks (if people are responsible about it of course ) ... looks like a great place for them to let off a bit of doggy steam

They are all well socialized and help tire them all out. Don't know what we would do without the dog park

She's really energetic for short periods of time and then needs a rest. Suki will stand over her and bark trying to get her to play

All of the credit should go to my OH We make sure she is around other dogs for 2 hours or so every day. We are looking for more dogs that are bigger than her. Would love to find a Rotty playmate.
There is a Pitbull that lives behind the park that is twice Suki's size. They get along okay but he is on his 3rd or 4th home so his handler doesn't trust him enough to let him offleash yet.

I think they would play great. He doesn't show any signs of aggression and is actually a bit submissive when they met on lead.

may not be a problem at all. just the same, IMO, when a dog has been moved around so much (poor lil' guy ) i prefer to error on the side of caution. i hope it works out, Suki can never have too many friendsjstaff wrote:I think they would play great. Re: Suki and friends
wonderful action shots of Suki playing with her pals..love the one where it looks like Suki is up the backside of the black dog and he is leaping in the air and all the people are standing around watching )

Wow great shots. I wish there was a park like that around near us. It makes so much sense for all concerned and the dogs are well sociallized.
Rocky has a Dobermann play friend and is one of his best friends. We would also like to find a Rottie he could play with that would be perfect as he seems to get on better with the bigger dogs, and we would like to get a Rottie sometime in the future as a playmate for him.

Looks like a fun time jstaff! Don't know why, but I figured you were in the Army or somehow attached. Small community dog parks are much better than the free for all ones. We have a really nice big one in town, but it is so big that some really ignorant people show up and it can be ugly.

Most people are usually shocked when they find out what I do for a living
