Monty's ears.

Monty's ears.
Inside one of them is clean as a whistle, the other ... BLACK !!! :-\
I've tried cleaning it as much as I can, and I've spotted some blood inside the dirty ear where he's been scratching. Any suggestion on how I can clean it properly ? Just warm soapy water with cotton wool ? It really is BLACK in there, think I need a helmet with a torch attached to it.

Re: Monty's ears.
If he is scratching at it he could have an ear infection. Moo is prone to them, trip to the vets and £60 lighter usually sorts it out!
You can get a cleaner from the vets which isn't as dear, over the counter thing.

Re: Monty's ears.
Thanks my love, I'm off tomorrow and Tuesday, I will pop up the vets and see what they can give me.

Re: Monty's ears.
Could well be an infection. If you need to clean it, though, I'd either use a pad of cotton wool dipped in warm salty water, or cotton wool dipped in warm olive oil.
