awww what a sweetie! He looks lovely! How is he settling in? A few years ago u hardly ever used to see blues in rescue but now that they are so overbred and badly bred u are seeing them more and more. We had a blue and a blue brindle in our rescue a few months ago and have only just been rehomed now....

awww what a sweetie! He looks lovely! How is he settling in? A few years ago u hardly ever used to see blues in rescue but now that they are so overbred and badly bred u are seeing them more and more. We had a blue and a blue brindle in our rescue a few months ago and have only just been rehomed now....
So VERY true. The centres will be full of blues soon and bybs will no longer be charging double for them. Someone was saying to me the other day that the most popular colour for registered staffies is now blue!

I hadn`t really thought about the amount of blue staffy`s I had seen until I got my boy. Now it seems every second one is blue. It`s such a shame there is so much over breeding of all staffys just to try to make quick money. angry

The problem with Blue staffs is quiet often they are more pron to skin reactions that are genetic, or so my breeder has told me. They also tend to have blue eyes, which is not allowed in the show ring, but i think they are still beautiful dogs Big Grin Blue or brown eyed, shouldnt matter.
