well as a lot of you know i am a crafty person. i love to knit and crochet and have just been looking for a new project and think i have found a choice. there is rug making - theres braided, latch and rag rug making or i have just been watching afghan crocheting on you tube. i ordered ll the tools and needles cos i will probably eventualy do them all but for the next project i havent decided yet. will let you all know which i decide on and post you update pictures of it. right now i have a blanket to finish if Lottie would stop running a way with the ball of wool the little minx. Lemmy took my crochet hook yesterday and tried eating it. It may be metal but its not indestructable. I had to go get a new one this morning.

ya know he actualy gets jealous of the wool. evey time i pick it up to do a bit more he insists on getting on my knee for a cuddle which usualy means i have to put it down again. its got that big now though that he just laid on it this morning while it was on my knee so i just carried on regardless Laughing

I used to do cross stitch until a few months ago when I completely lost my rag with one and ended up throwing it in the bin banghead , after hours of work crying

Will maybe take it up again sometime. happy

I'm a knitter too. But at the moment I'm mainly doing cross stitch. The biggest challange for me is trying to keep all the dog hair off my knee, other wise I end up with lots in the cross stitch!

Currently doing a meerkats one. The knitting needle usually come of for baby stuff for people.
