Jethro and Winston

It has been so ruddy hot here we have hardly left the house..any of us!! Today was abit cooler (33 ) so got some pics of Winston running around the lawn..
Tug a war with daddy
New toy..quick must destroy it... he did!! In record time!!
Posing in his new martingale collar ( not going to use a choker chain anymore ! )
After spending ages going round and round pulling all his blankets out..he falls asleep in his empty bed!

He wasn't feeling too good the other day..must be the heat..we gave him a cool bath and he lay under the aircon..
..great swimming weather..
Help I am being held prisoner..

Wow Vanessa is certainly is very hot there. Best to stay under the aircon me thinks. Lovely pics as always, thanks for sharing

i love jethro, he's grace with aging and i know what you mean. i come from SA originally right up the top of the spence gulf. my brothers poor staffie jack has his own swimming pool... plastic shell looking thing. he looks like a log laying in it all the time. here we have the opposing problem... its -20 and romeo doesnt like his paws getting cold, not that i blame him

Lovely pics. Jethro - bless him and Winston seems to be enjoying being out. Been hot as hell here as well but thank goodness a storm has blown in to coolthings down. Just waiting for it to clear the we can go for a walk and splash in puddles

Was'nt it lovely to have a cooler day, and the breeze we had was gorgeous too.

Wonderful update. Looks like Winston needed to get it out after being cooped up due to heat. Love the grey paws. Jethro is such a gentleman.

we have a bore, rainwater tanks and a dam !! We are very lucky !!
and yes Lisa going for our walk last night was wonderful..lovely cool wind blowing.....aaaahhh!!
