Jessie & Tyson playing
This was the action before we walked home and they had the blow up. Cant read anything in either of their body language at this point. (he does seem to be telling her that he is the boss though)

I'm not a professional dog behaviorist, but it seems non-violent.

Re: Jessie & Tyson playing
Andy, do you see Ty as been overly dominant? If so how would you address it. Jess is not socialised and only 6 months old as apposed to Tyson being 16 months old.

Re: Jessie & Tyson playing
I didn't see anything I would classify as dominant behaviour, no raised hackels or drooped tails. The BT was being submissive by rolling on her back but Ty isn't being overly aggressive or nipping at ears or legs.
It's hard to tell sometimes with a short vid.

Re: Jessie & Tyson playing
Perhaps over dominating was a bit strong, and it dosent always have any agressive undertones so nowt to fret over, I just think Ty is a little intense with her as she's being completely submissive ... did they fall out after the vid or something ??
Max was playing with a 12wk old staffy bitch a few weeks ago who was tiny bless her , and when she tried to run, he just chased and pinned her, but when she rolled over he left her alone till she tried to run again .. obviously with the BT being a fair size tho still a pup, just means Ty can play "the big I am" a bit IMO
