Post by Renata Thu Jan 19 2012, 13:36

hey all, just want to ask what could be. Today when I went to make breakfast, and left ramzi alone in the room, and when I came back with food, at the beginning he was smiling but when i steped he growled once but it didn't look like hwe would be angry, but it was just for a second and then everything was fine (PS it was second time now). so is he just thought smthng or there is a problem? Thanks

Could be nothing but could be food aggression. Do you have him sit and wait before feeding? If not it would be a good thing to start.

yes we do it all the time, I tell him to wait while i put his food down and I eat first usually. I was carrying a tray with food so I thought may be it could be because of that. But he even didnt run to me he was sitting calmly with his new toy.

Did you surprise him when you came into the room? That would explain the very short growl & then silence.

at that moment he was playing with his new toy so it could be that he didn't expect to see me.
