Sick lola :(
Lola isnt right at all. She's had diarrhea for a couple of days, her poo first thing in the morning is ok and then in the afternoon and evening is horrible!
Came down this morning after hubby waking me to find poop half normal half diarrhea, a puddle of wee and some sick. Cleaned everything up and took her for a gentle stroll. She settled ok then got up and was sick and it was like foam!
She's currently lying in bed shaking and shes not as chirpy as normal. Vet said if she continued being sick after starving for 24hrs take her back.
She's not had a change in diet but she did eat some sort of paper/tissue type stuff on our walk last night. I hope thats all thats made her ill. I just hate seeing her ill
Cancelled a job interview to stay home with her!
She's my girl xxxxxxxxxxx

Poor Lola.
There might have been some sort of chemical on the tissue - a cleaning wipe or something like that, and it's upset her tum. Is she drinking ok?
Did you manage to rearrange the interview?

Hey, shes sleeping just now. I've not seen her drink yet today. But dont want to force her but dont want her to dehydrate either!

Re: Sick lola :(
Try giving her a little bit of honey from your finger, the shaking is usual due to low blood sugar.
Honey won't even affect the problem badly as it will be absorbed very quickly.
If the sickness carries on more than 48 hours phone the vet.
An ice cube is good or dribble some water from your finger onto her gums.
Hope she is feeling better soon.

Re: Sick lola :(
Well she wasnt sick or had runny poos all last night
So she had scrambled egg and about 10 normal food biscuits this morning and no problem and then she had some plain cooked pasta and about another 10 pieces of her dry food and I let her out and dirrhea again
I'll try just some scrambled egg and pasta for dinner and she how she goes and some plain chicken.
