After all the tales of bad walkies......

Well I was just back home for what felt like a very short weekend but have had a wonderful few days walks with Ledger

There is a new gorgeous cream lurcher cross puppy in the park that he has made friends with and today I actually managed a conversation with two other dog walkers while Ledger greeted their dogs one of which is a 10 month old staffy who he generally finds too energetic after the initial 'hello' sniff. The other dog a youngish dacschund type got a bit 'pouncy' in his face at one point and Ledger grumped at her but I got his attention and re-introduced them and they were great again after that

That and the cold seems to have driven the kids away from drinking in the park at night so it has all been rather pleasant

Sadly I have had to drop my boy at his grandparents for the week again but apparently on his walks there he has been flirting with another staffy called Molly and he also gets spoilt there with a chew before bed every night and I left him waiting for the leftover chicken for his breakfast so I think I am missing him more than he misses me

Aw, sounds like it was a good weekend. It is hard to be seperated from the dogs for sure!
