Oh my.. everytime River eats or drinks she comes to me as if to say thank you, and while i am fussing her she has a massive burp and it stinks...

Suki has only done this once about a month ago and it was the first time I've heard a dog burp

lemmy always goes and burps in gemmas face when he has eaten or drank. he will actualy walk over the room look at her and burp. one day he wanted her to pick him up and when she patted his back he burped in her ear. am sure he gets wind stuck and she releives it for him. its like winding a baby sometimes. 
we got him one of those stands that raises his bowl up to stop the hiccups now its just burps

you have all made me laugh so much i thought it was just River. River has been known to look me in the eye and do a belly gurgling burp herself..
