Yet again the breed is tarnished

Was just on Facebook and The Sun posted this link. i'm not sure if it has been posted already but i am disgusted with The Sun and how they portray the Staffy breed.

Whats even more terrible is that Staffy lovers have had to become so defensive for our loving breed that we now seem to overlook the other victim in stories like this. When i read that a Staffy was involved i overlooked the other vctim and concentrated on how the article was going to slander the breed.

I will be writing to The Sun to complain about this article and the use of the picture and the words "vicious....a Staffy dog"

This is blatant. No wonder Staffs have such a bad wrap in the UK.

I was shocked to read this as well, there reputation is pretty poor, for no real fault of the breed. for example:
Once I was told that I had a "devil dog". But that person had to eat there own words, when the "devil dog" was so playful around them and there small kids...! what's funny was, there own lhasa apso decided to try and attack my "devil dog" for just walking next to it...lol, All in all I say it comes down two bad owners not bad breeds. Holly was ok, her bark is worse than her bite...!

i saw that in the paper its disgraceful!

i have come to love staffys its ashame some people dont want to put the time and effort to train them properly and be good and decent owners!

As if that pic in the article is a staff and how was the one in the incident recognised as such
