Also just heard this on the radio news, couldn't believe it. you would have thought someone in his position would know better. However I did also read online news that he is looking to get treatment?

once could be put down to a mistake bur 5 times in 16 days is just taking the proverbial whittle.
its not like he done it for nesesity as he will still not be short of as bob or two
lets hope he get banned out of all tesco stores

i think he lost all of his money when all of his restaurants went into administration.

he still on the tv a bit so will still be getting good money

i haven't seen him for ages on tv but he may be on channels i dont watch

I wonder if Tesco will prosecute, and if not, would they do the same if a non celebrity shoplifted?

I think if they have gone to the trouble of specifically investigating him and installing other cameras then they should yes otherwise why make people aware that they were watching him and knew what he was doing- he had scanned some of his shopping apparantley but not all of it - he may well need help in some way but all to often celebs get away with things like this imo they feel they are untouchable in some way not long ago a footballer was caught pinching a doughnut from a Tesco store - if we did it and said we had problems and were going to seek help would they say ok no problem and leave it at that somehow imo i dont think so.

maybe he's got a medical problem or such, don't judge the guy unless you know all the details. some people genuinely cannot stop themselves from this kind of behaviour, some continue even after getting caught several times. i hope he gets things back on track as i'm sure his life and his families lives are upside down at the minute.
