Exciting day ahead of us....
.........today's plans are to finish a law essay (1500 words done, 500 to go), and sort out all my notes to prepare for revision!
Not looking forward to it, but I am looking forward to polishing off this essay so I can submit it.
Hollie is still in bed, lazy so and so on. Ian has just gone to bed after work so we have to wait up now until she awakens then we can take Tinkerbell for a walk before the rain hits this afternoon.
Hope everyone has a more exciting day than me planned ahead!

I have walked Tinkerbell so far and that's it, back on here. Although we did have a nice walk, and the 2 year old walked all the way too which was nice....no buggy which meant we didn't have to stick to the roads, so we walked across the banks, down to the pond and back throught the park to get home

Thanks, I'm going to need it. Did 900 words yesterday, but this last bit seems to be the hardest. I do wonder sometimes why I decided to go back to Uni

My day has been what yours should have been - essay writing! I've got a couple more quotes to find, then I'm done. This one is on the eighteenth century feminist, Mary Wollstonecraft. I have another one to do on Walter Scott, and another one to do on sex and manners in the eighteenth century - all due in on Tuesday.

I'm in the same boat - hand-ins are on the 9th and I have about 50% of my illustrations still to do. Then I need to make a 'professional photographical representation' (who knows how I'm meant to do that) of my installation piece. Niiiiiiiightmare.

I have finished my essay <:-P <:-P <:-P Woohooooo, and for once in my life I didn't have to cut a load of words out!
Good luck with it. Didn't know you were also in uni. What are you studying?
Good luck My essay is done, got half a lab report to finish but that can wait, so it's on to revision for a maths and physics exam and a philosphy exam now!

Re: Exciting day ahead of us....
Oh sounds interesting. What year are you in? How do you find it with the little one's?
I am studying a BSc Medical Sciences and Humanities degree. Only in first year though but finding it different to the 3 years I did at uni before. Harder this time round as the course is very intense, long lectures and kids at home too lol! Hoping to one day be a midwife, but really hard to get onto the course so that's why I am on this. Results dependent I am hoping to go onto either a post grad in physiotherapy or medicine to become a paediatric consultant....not sure if that is a bit ambitious though!

Re: Exciting day ahead of us....
How are you going with that? I've decided to do a double degree in Law and Accounting (I aim to specialise in Commerce and Business Law). I am guessing the work load is huge. Do you work as well?

I am doing a medical sciences and humanities degree. Law is just one topic this term to give us an insight into professional and law issues in nursing. It has actually been really interesting, we have heard a lot of cases, some very odd one's
Not sure what a double degree is, but it sounds a lot of work! Good luck with it.
Our work load is really intense compared to the other degrees at uni. A lot of the girls on the course say their flat mates are only in for a couple of hours a week, we have been pretty much 9-5 every day since September. It dies down a bit when we go back, after the first few weeks (which are heavy going) we settle to 3 days a week before our May exams.
No I don't work the degree is enough for me at the moment. I hardly have time to breathe as it is, get home from being out all day to a house thats a tip, two kids to get sorted with food and bed and Tinkerbell to walk. And that's before I can sit and study, so work is a no go at the moment. Plus the other half works nights so is in bed by 6pm with the kids, to grab a few hours before work. So at the moment there isn't really any hours that I am free to go to work!

Well done with your ambitions. I always say shoot for the moon and if by chance you miss at least your fall among the stars.

Re: Exciting day ahead of us....
Well done! You definitely have enough on your plate without working as well! I will have to do my courses part time because we are still reliant on the two incomes. Hopefully over the next couple of years I can stop... and I am looking at going part time over the next couple of months... we will see... 40+ hours of work and 2 degrees might be too much!

That's a fab saying, will keep that in mind. I do have my fall back plan of a physiotherapist. I would enjoy either but ultimately a midwife or a paediatric consultant on a labour ward would be my dream. So that's what I shall work for.

We are struggling financially. I have my student loan but with only one income coming in it is hard. But with the kids aswell I just can't find the time to get a job. I have 4 months off in the summer though, so will see what I can do then! Although hoping to use some of that to do a placement on a maternity ward. Good luck with it, sounds like your going to be very busy, but it will be worth it!
