Babysitting a bird and a dog !
What time do your pets get you up on a morning ? I've been up since 8 with Monty, which is normal, but my dad has just come off a night shift so is in bed, and my mum is now in work doing a long day shift. Monty has been fed, toileted and walked, and is running about the house like a mad head ... so I've just had to put him in his cage to calm him down. Now, for the bird ! He's in his cage, covered up, but PERSISTS making a god damn noise ! I wish you could all hear him, you would be in stitches with laughter !
He is current doing the following scenario ..
(doing the phone ring noise)
"hello ? Sorry ? What ?! F..k sake. cough cough, sorry ? (then he starts babbling on what sounds like in a different language but still sounds like he is having a conversation with someone), oi! f..k sake, ok, ok, Monty, Monty! Ok bye ...puts phone down."

Sounds like a mad house!!!
Tinkerbell used to get us up anytime between half 5 and half 6 to go out for a wee. Now that Ian works nights he leaves at 1am, so she goes out before he goes meaning i don't have to get up so early!
It's the kids in this house that get us up!

Karen, I'm telling you having Monty and a bird is like having kids in the house

Ha ha, it used to be the same when I was at home with my sheepdog, a budgie, two african land snails, 6 sheep, a hmaster and some goldfish! The worse one of all was the budgie. She used to whine like the pup, so we would tell him to shut up and he would get confused because he was asleep in his bed!

Yeah they can talk too, but boys are supposed to be better than girls. Sky used to have an obsession with her mirror, she would sit on her perch and hold it with one fit and kiss herself making all sorts of strange noises lol! And she used to do this high pitched scream, not sure what that was all about, propably mimicing one of my nephews screaming!
