It has indeed been a bad year.

they said it could get as bad as the 1930's on the bbc this morning

Don't think it will be quite that bad. The economic indicators such as inflation, unemployment and negative growth over numerous consecutive quarters aren't present at the moment. This is more of a big bubble bursting and bad use of debt by some of the larger world economys. Bad times for sure but not to the extent of the 1930s. Just my opinion.

I think when euro break down we all in trouble. also think it will lead to protectionism
