Re: new owner here needs a little advive
Hi & welcome!
With the training, I'd just go right back to square one. Pretend there's been no training at all, and start again. He'll soon pick it all up again.
The biting's quite normal, I'm afraid. He's probably starting to teeth and he'll be looking for things to bite/chew to relieve his gums. If he starts to bite hands/feet etc, just give a firm "No!" and turn away. Stop all interraction with him - no play, no talking not even eye contact until he's calm, then you can give him some gentle praise. It'll take a bit of repeating but he'll get to understand that biting humans really isn't allowed!
You should also give him plenty of things to chew on at the moment - a frozen banana's a good one, or even a frozen carrot. You could also dampen & freeze an old tea towel for him to chew at! If you think his gums are sore the frozen stuff will soothe them a little and if they still seem to be giving him trouble, try some doggie teething gel from the pet store.

Re: new owner here needs a little advive
Tell her to do exactly the same as above - a firm "No!" and turn away. Don't look at him, don't talk to him. If he carries on, then calmly pick him up & put him out of the room until he's calm. If she does that every time, he'll soon get the hint!

Agree with Caryll. For the teething a frozed Kong with treats inside also works well. They all nip but if you follow the above advice every time they learn that it isn't allowed.

Re: new owner here needs a little advive
welcome from me and my girls Kita & Izzy.
Good advice above. I was also thinking if your G/F is feeling nervous or timid around him, he will pick up on this as well.
Definite consistency in everything you do from both of you.
It will get better
