in 1976 i was 11 and got a tranny as they were called. transister radio not transvestite to all you younger ones Laughing i also got a typewriter like the yellow one in the picture only mine was red. my brother got the evel knievel bike and i bought one from the gadget shop for my OH for his birthday the other year cos he remembered having one too and i tell you i wish i had been charged the 1976 price doh . my little brother was only 2 but he had that exact garage. i remember my auntie putting her rollers (curlers) in and sitting with one of the hood hairdryers.

one thing not on this page is the stylophone that rolph harris swore by does anyone remember them. i had one and bought one in the gadget shop for my kids for a laugh last christmas and they had a good laugh trying to play it. matthew said for once i had given him an instrument that had him stumped. he couldnt get a tune out of it
