bones again!
Hi, Have given Vinnie some bones today from my local eski market. They were only £1.39 for loads. They were I think like rib bones, but when he started chewing it allbeit it was only thin he swallowed the last 5 inches down whole!! obviously choked it back up. Least to be said I was scared to death!! Are these type of bones to dangerous?

Re: bones again!
No, they're not dangerous, Dempsey has them quite often (lamb ribs or spines), but you might want to freeze them first as it will encourage him to chew them rather than swallow. Otherwise, keep an eye on him & when he gets towards the end, offer a treat & take the last bit away. I doubt they'd do him any harm, though, cause their stomach acid is so strong.
