do they really grow that fast?

so I took Noa for booster shot (5 in 1) and anti-rabies. last time we were at the vet (3weeks ago), she weighed 9.1 KG.. now she weighs 12 KG!

really, 1KG a week?!!

They certainly do!! Take lots and lots of pics at this age

When Violet was tiny, she almost doubled in weight in a month! We were looking at videos of her when she was just 8 or 9 weeks, and just stunned at how much she has grown in 4 months. The only explanation is that another, bigger dog has come in, ate Violet, and we didn't notice so we just kept the bigger dog. No way did our tiny cute little puppy grow into what's lying (crushing me) on the couch now!

that is why I have taken about a million photos of Winston.. not long ago a tiny little puppy now a 25 kilo lump of lard !! They do grow so quickly..even now when I look at his puppy photos it doesn't seem real that he was so little once...

it is a great excuse for you to take lots of photos and then put on here for us to ogle at !!

it's funny too that they don't realize that they're growing and gaining weight rapidly. tied her to my bench press so she couldn't charge at my parents when they arrive.. she ended up taking the whole thing with her while greeting them gullibly.

Izzy grew very quickly in the next 3-4 months from when we brought her home at 9 weeks. I'm sure my older girl Kita didn't, but then she was really tiny to start with so if she gained weight in the first few months I was really happy.
I really do have "chalk & cheese", but they both stole my heart the moment I looked at them

They do all have their growth spurts. Hard to tell sometimes since you see them everyday.

Its actually very sad that they grow so quickly. I feel like we had a puppy for two weeks and now we have a 5 month old monster with a puppy mentality (i know he is still a pup, but he doesn't look it).

The way its looking now, I'm going to end up with a 20kg lap dog, no better spot than on my lap. The more of himself he can fit on my lap, the happier he is

I have a 22kg one that thinks she can do that.

Try a 30kilo EBT on your lap or draped around your shoulders!
