Re: Crate size for staff ?
All depends on if you will use it in the car or not. Med is fine for short times but I'd go for large if it's going to be for training/ sleeping.

Yeah - like Equi says.. Depends on what it's going to be used for. I have a car crate slightly smaller than the one in the house - and I plan to get him a bigger one for the house but the car crate is still perfect. Don't want them rattled around in there more than necessary if there's an accident. He does LOVE to stretch out and becomes longer than you could imagine. So even if his house crate seems a good size he'll get a bigger one.
Re: Crate size for staff ?
We have started using a crate in the kitchen for Tinkerbell. Her bed just didn't seem big enough for her to stretch out in. We got an xlarge one I think, suitable for a rottweiler, and she loves it. She has loads of room to move about, and she will spend all day in there sleeping and playing around.
It does depend on how much time he will be in there, but I do think you should get the biggest you have room for and can afford if he is going to be using it a fair bit!

I think the one I have for Bella is extra large. I got it for Millie who's a lab x but she hated it

Agree it depends on what you are using it for. Suki has two. One for the car and one for the house.

Sophie has two crates, one for in the house which is 42 inches, the other slightly smaller for the car.
The one at home came from amazon.

Re: Crate size for staff ?
Rocky has a medium size one as he only goes in there for a short time or when he wants to be alone. It is plenty big enough for him to move around, stretch and sleep comfortably. He will go in there by himself if we need to go out we just say "Rocky stay this time" and in he goes, no bother at all.
