Stools
Hiya all
I changed Lola onto Waggs Premium complete from tesco mixer and food in jelly and she did a fantastic poo yesterday afternoon and then last night and all day today its been very soft/loose stools. So loose I cant pick it up!
I changed the food over 3 days adding a small amouts and building up the amounts.
Is it possible she's just adjusting??

Re: Stools
As a guess I would have to say yes. Just keep an eye on her. Taken me a couple of years to find one that suits Moo. Is she fully on dry now? Xx

Re: Stools
Very soon to swap again but do keep in mind Fish4Dogs.
Moo had terrible diareah when I first got her. Had her health checked and swapped diet. Health check fine, and diet helped, put her on Royal Canin Sensitivity control.
Well the diareah over night stopped but her poo was still runny. Gradually put her on James Wellbeloved, she improved leaps and bounds, but got bored, 3 months of not eating properly was enough, so .....!
Couple of weeks ago I swapped her onto Fish4Dogs which she adores! It stinks, prob why she likes it! Early days but poo is firm, she adores it, buy it off the net so is cheaper.
Anyway just rambling now! xX

Re: Stools
she had diarroeh tonight should I starve her for 24hrs or keep feeding her, her new food?? xx
Re: Stools
I'd starve her for 24 hours, then give her something bland - chicken (if she can tolerate it) and rice, or scrambled egg & mashed potato. If that doesn't do the trick then a quick trip to the vets might be in order.

Re: Stools
Agree, starve for 24 hours, as above really.
