Small red blistery like spots :/
Hi all thanks in advance for the help
Have noticed in the last few days that our male 1 year old newly castrated staff Toby has developed some red, almost like blistery spots on his underbelly, they kinda look like the spots my daughter had when she had chicken pox. Having been to and from the vets fairly recently following his castration we are reluctant to visit AGAIN for something that we may be able to clear up ourselves.
They started out as one or two and are now 10 around his inner thighs by his penis and working their way up his belly, he doesn't scratch at them and they don't look sore. We do have some Hibiscrub, wondered if that would help??
Thanks

I don't really know what that is. If it is an allergy, you can try something for that (I have used infant Benadryl). I am unfamiliar with Habiscrub so I can't really help. You might try calling the vet and asking the nurse what it may be. Unfortunatly I can't be more help. Maybe someone else will come along and have more information for you. If it is an allergic reaction it may just clear up if you can isolate what is causing this. Many times it can be food related.

Re: Small red blistery like spots :/
This sounds like what my dog Sandi suffered with in the summer. She had loads of * spots all around her inner thighs and up her belly. We had to get anti biotics to clear it up. The vet also gave us hibiscub, so I would definately use that. Our vet thinks she has an allergy to grasses or pollen or something like that in the summer, as since the weather has cooled down it hasnt flared up. It may have been something Toby has eaten? Or change of washing powder on his bedding. Loads of things can make an allergy flare up, and as we have found it is a case of trial and error to try and find out what the allergy is!

Hi and welcome from us and Suki. If it's an allegy infant Benadryl may help. I would call the vet and see what they say just to be sure though.

Hiya and welcome from me and Moo. I would pop to the vets as I'm sure it should be covered in after care or ask to see a nurse and get there opinion
