christmas cake with no clothes on yet

well this is the cake out of the oven an hour ago. wit 2 weeks then decorate.

It's quite a heavy, fruit-filled cake which is then covered with a layer of marzipan, then a layer of icing & decorated with christmassy things!

I remember my nan always used to make christmas cake every year for my grandad i used to pull all the icing and marzipan off and leave the fruit cake lol
