Ive got 2 on my knee shaking and squashing me cant wait for this night to be over I hate it think they should be banned full stop

woody is pacing up and down and trying to squeeze into small spaces!!

They aint really started around here yet (I live about half a mile from any real number of house's) ... tho there's a big house over the road and about 300yrds down, who sell fireworks !! .... good in one way, cus on new years eve we are usually treated to a free display , but if Max gets scared, we are in a world of sh!t

He was too young to care last year, so not sure how he will react ???

awww bless i hope they will be ok. Our pup basil's first firework night and so far he is ok, fingers crossed. We're still missing the cat tho

I have a full house tonight Both cats are in and scared, Both dogs are looking very puzzled as what is going on as it there first fireworks night.

Ledger is fretting a bit took him for a walk about half hour ago and he was ok out there (apart from a pestering off lead jack russell) he isn't shaking or hiding yet but I have the washing machine on and tv turned up he is just having hyper barking moments when it goes quiet in the house

well the people next door just poped over to tell me that they would be seeting some fireworks off so i have the dogs in the frontroom with me they then thought that they wanted to go back to therebed which is right neer where there setting them off and i can truely say that my 2 have not even woke up i cant belive it i thought the pup would of gone mad but no so i think im lucky hope everyones dogs are ok

Rommel is fine so far but then there's not been that many. Guess tomorrow night may be worse?

Milly is following jessie around all over i think she is feeling sorry for her bless.She even let her share her bed which doesnt happen often

Fireworks don't seem to bother my 3. Clover is playing with my daughter Emily, Diesel is acting as my foot warmer and Roxie has gone with my fella to pick up my eldest daughter from a party.

Violet is just having a nap on the couch. The fireworks are in full swing, and banging all the time, but Violet has brought new meaning to the phrase 'umny bothered'. I was worried she might go mad or be frightened

Rocky is currently curled up on the sofa asleep. Different story an hour ago however, he just barks really loudly at them then jumped onto my knee to defend me against them. Bless him. Think they will soon be over with though, just a few going off now and then.

My baby girl is in my utility room trying to get into the tumble dryer and even though I put her bed in there shes lied on a cold tiled floor, radio on, im so sad feel like crying shes too old for this

cant do a thing with sash,im covered with doggie saliva where she panting all over me ew!rescue remedy not worked tonite n all around there's still loads going off

Harvey is perched on my knee and chance is running round the house barking and growling at the bloody fireworks

my 2 aren't bothered to be honest .. they become alert now and then to them but they're not scared so far .. if my old boy was still with us he'd be a nervous wreck bless him!

Suki is sleeping after 2 hours at the dog park

Bob's missus here. Bob and son were both at work so it was just Sophie and I last night.

Sophie wasn't too bad initially. She even had a wee in the garden when one went off in the distant. Although she jumped and glared at it she wasn't too fazed.

A while later I took her out for another wee hoping it was a break in the noise. She just started to squat when what must have been a commercial one did this almighty whizz and bang in the immediate vicinity. It was one of the loudest I have heard and was almost on top of us.

We have a bungalow and access the garden thtough french doors in our bedroom. Poor Sophie took off back into the house at about 90 miles an hour. She paused by the bed to see if I was behind her and turned round to carry on running and bashed straight into the bed leg.

From that time on, she was terrified and took to her puppy position when she was scared. Sat on my lap with her head tucked tight under my arm with her eyes tight closed. There she stayed until they subsided and eventually I managed to persuade her to curl up in my dressing gown on the sofa beside me.

Awwww, some real heart wrenchers last night then

Luckily Max's first poper bonfire night wasnt too bad, he just went to the back door and kept barking and grumbling at the bangs and noise's .... typical Max meeting something head on

Cairo luckily isnt bothered by them.She just slept in her bed like any other night really.Big hugs out to all the poor dogs who were scared last night ><

Well Ledger stayed fairly calm and just slept on my knee in the end unfortunately I have just brought a very nervous boy back shaking from our walk at about 3pm just as we were leaving the park (about a mile away from home) a gang of lads were heading in there no sooner had I crossed the road then the first bang went off followed by about 5 or 6 more cue one shaking staffy. I just couldn't get his attention even the beef jerky didn't break his focus on wanting to get home it was then a very long first half mile with him trying to pull and me having to stop every few steps and watch him stand fast shaking

well there going off again here n got one shaking,scared little girl why cant fireworks all go off on the 5th nov,not days before and days after

laid in bed trying to sleep but more fireworks tonight. poor pete was run ragged with them last night cos of the fireworks i never heard a thing myself was too busy propping up the bar at a wedding.

Mine went out for a nice stroll about an hour ago before the fireworks started and are now peacefully lay together sleeping .. fireworks have started but neither have moved a muscle lol.
They will wake up now tho' theyre about to be fed lol (half an hour late oops :S bad mom!) haha

Monty's hiding out under the table with his blanket at the moment, I think he may have fallen asleep
He hates the fireworks...when they were going on yesterday he was shaking and hiding behind the sofa.

My two dogs dont seem to be bothered by the fireworks,

There just lay on there mat waiting to watch X factor!

We don't have fireworks in n.ire on this night so mines in her bed blissfully unaware lol
