Injured Sapphire!

Post by Maxien78 Wed Oct 19 2011, 18:56

In less than 24 hours Sapphire will be home finally Big Grin I'm sooooooo excited now, it's gonna be like christmas eve in this house, no one is gonna be able to sleep hee hee

Also a lovely neighbour just came around with some doggy gifts. She gave me a plastic dog bed that she said she bought over 20 years ago, she said it lasted through all her dogs chewing stage. She also gave me a plastic bag full of brand new doggy toys, some doggy brushes and mitts and some doggy toothpaste and toothbrush. It felt like i was having a doggy shower hee hee

I'm sooo gonna have to get a lovely card tomorrow and give it to her...i love me neighbours Smile

Aww. The first few days are so much fun until sleep deprivation takes over and you no longer remember your own first name. Take tons of pictures. I love it. It is all worth it... especially when you are looking back at it. Big Grin

Thanks all Big Grin

So that one glass of wine to help me sleep turned into the whole bottle hee hee but i'm a scientist by education, a Biomedical Scientist and we deal with bacteria etc, so my excuse for drinking the whole bottle is that i wanted to prevent the build of of harmful bacteria on and in the bottle Big Grin

hee hee It's the excuse myself, my lab partner and the demonstrators/lecturers in uni used to use, especially when we had a very early morning lab session and none of us were up to doing anything but go to sleep and dribble all over the work benches lol

Very similar. Reminds me of when our youngest was born (our fourth as well) and I got two puppies at the same time and the baby was only 6 months old. I am still repaying my wife... the debt is eternal I'm told.

Oh indeed the debt is eternal Laughing A bunch of flowers every now and then...just because usually help pay off that debt tho Wink

My youngest is 10 now so my daysof waking up at 2, 4, and 6 am were over. But these past few months i have been a bot of a light sleeper so i don't mind...she might even tire me out a lottle. Plus my other half gets up before the birds do these days so he is ok with early morning doodey and pee pee runs lol

She is settling nicely Big Grin We have been home abotu an hour, she sat in her bed with her blankets which smelt like mummy, i went to the shop so was gone for 10 minutes, i came home and the kids were playing catch with her. She loves tennis balls and a hard bobbley ball she can chew on. She's having a skitzo moment at the minute running around the entire living room.

She must be happy Big Grin

Pics tomorrow, my batteries have died in my camera Smile
